AOC Pic Saint Loup - Red (2022) - 75cl

Made from a blend of 90% Syrah and 10% Grenache, La Grenadière has a deep garnet color with purple nuances. Composed of the finest plots and oldest vines of the estate, based on the family's historical terroir, this cuvée is the fruit of hard work and the influence of an exceptional terroir. The intense and complex nose evokes the maturity of the fruit expressing red fruits, licorice roll and a beautiful general smoothness marked by density. The mouth, well constructed, dense and deep, reveals a remarkable freshness from this particularly cool terroir located at the foot of the Pic Saint Loup. The slow maturity of this area allows a balance between the density of the volume, the controlled power of the tannins and an intense and greedy fruitiness. The tannins are perfectly ripe and integrated by the 18 months of maturation in barrel, giving a long and harmonious persistence and a great ageing potential. Optimal tasting period between 3 and 15 years
